Four-day Carpet Dye Seminar Scheduled for Chicago
CHICAGO — The Cleaning and Restoration Institute and The Dyers Guild are hosting a unique, comprehensive four-day spot and full room dyeing class August 16-19 in the Chicago area.

On Tuesday, August 16, students will learn color theory, how to fix bleach spots and engage in hands-on spot dyeing, air brushing of rugs and the proper use of dye chemicals.
The IICRC Color Repair Technician (CRT) seminar will be part of the agenda as well, on Wednesday and Thursday, August 17-18, with optional certification offered. All IICRC certified technicians working towards their Master Textile Cleaner status must have the CRT certification.
Friday, August 19 is dedicated to full-room dyeing, repairing sun-faded carpet, color tinting and much more.
Workbooks, class materials and both lunch and dinner will be provided each day of the workshop. There are also evening marketing and business building lessons that are included as part of registration.
This workshop will be taught by Melody David, a color repair and carpet dyeing expert and an IICRC-approved instructor.
