As always, the new issue is full of technical tips for the cleaning and restoration industry, ways to improve your business and all the most-pressing topics for our readers.

Our July cover feature is the 2016 Restoration Benchmarking Survey Report, which offers you the data necessary to compare your own restoration business to your peers’.

Some highlights from this years results include:

  • 57 % of respondents considered water damage restoration their most profitable service.
  • 34% of respondents travel outside their service area for large disaster cleanup.
  • 61 % of respondents saw revenue exceed $250,000 in 2015.
  • The most popular average employee salary across the U.S. is in the $15 to $17 dollar range.
