The Directory… and More
It’s that time of year again… time for you to thumb through the absolute best and most thorough compilation of industry manufacturers, suppliers and distributors, all ready to provide what you need to succeed in business in 2016.
That’s right… the annual Cleanfax Directory, complete in the pages of the December issue of Cleanfax. And when on the go, you can always find it online at Cleanfax.com. Just go to Cleanfax.com, point to the “Online Directory” link, and start shopping.
But this issue is more than a directory. It has, in addition to pages that make up a cleaning and restoration “wish list” of products and services, a few cool feature articles and departments to give you a kick-start to the new year.
Enter our main feature, “The Seven Deadly Sins.” Cleanfax invited the entire cleaning and restoration community to provide thoughts on what they see as the biggest business mistakes common to our industry and what readers can do to avoid them.
While Cleanfax editors are sure this “Seven Deadly Sins” lineup is comprehensive, you may have in mind a few other “sins.” But that’s OK. We know there are more than seven business mistakes that can be committed — even by the very best of companies — but we want to keep this manageable.
Then there is our technical tip about technology in cleaning and restoration. My capable assistant editor Amanda Hosey put her heart and soul into this feature article, and in it you will find information that gives you a boost for staying abreast of changes and improvements with business-building resources available to you right now.
A couple of subscribers stepped up to hand over some fine advice for 2016. The first is Doug Berjer, providing tips on how to start and operate a successful cleaning company. Second is Joshua Solloway, who has some information for large category restoration work.
Finally, but of no less importance, are our Online Exclusive page, with a roundup of what you can find at Cleanfax.com, and The Last Word, which features our monthly photo contest, a Facebook topic snippet and our online poll results.
So like I said, this is the Directory issue, but it’s so much more. Enjoy!
