BIRMINGHAM — The latest Cleanfax poll asks whether you provide customers with pricing/quotes via email.

We all get those emails from customers who think you’ll be able to give them a price on a job with a short description. But what about ones who provide you with actual info to access the job?

Many professionals say you can’t price a job without seeing it, while others will use the data to create a ballpark figure but are sure to note that it’s not exact. And still some occasionally make firm quotes via email for the right customers.

For owner/operators who are the only ones working in their businesses, taking a vacation might be a near impossibility. The same goes for those who now work on the administrative side of things.
