VANCOUVER, WA — The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has announced the appointment of Mulberry Marketing Communications as its marketing agency of record, according to a press release.

In the new assignment, Mulberry is responsible for developing the strategy for the IICRC's 2013 marketing campaign, the release stated.

"Mulberry has extensive marketing expertise in the cleaning and restoration industry and will help us better market ourselves both internally and externally," said Hank Unck, chairman of the IICRC's marketing communications committee.

"We have a tremendous amount of underutilized assets and we look forward to working with all of our newly appointed agencies to spread the word about the IICRC and grow awareness for our certified firms, registrants and instructors," Unck added.

According to the release, the 2013 campaign consists of a comprehensive content marketing program, association outreach, expanded social media efforts, search engine optimization, video and mobile programs.

In addition to promotion of IICRC activities, West Third Group will develop educational content, working closely with industry associations and media to provide IICRC research and resources, the release noted.
