ACI Welcomes Corey Brooks Pace as Director, Legal Affairs
Washington, D.C. – May 9, 2022 – The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) announced this week the appointment of Corey Brooks Pace as Director of Legal Affairs.
In this role, Brooks Pace will be responsible for providing legal counsel on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters concerning ACI. The position safeguards ACI’s legal interests and ensures the institute’s compliance with applicable federal and local laws and regulations.
“Corey will play an integral role in collaborating internally with ACI staff on legal matters, programs and issues affecting the cleaning products industry, as well as working with our member companies,” said Douglas Troutman, ACI General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Senior Vice President of Government Affairs. “We are very excited to have him join the ACI team.”
Prior to his time at ACI, Brooks Pace served as Director of Custom Paralegal Program and Faculty Director at Georgetown University, where he taught contract and corporate law. He previously served as a paralegal at The Camaur Law Firm P.C. and Becker, Kellogg & Berry P.C.
Brooks Pace graduated from Radford University (Radford, VA) with a B.S. in Sociology and the University of Baltimore School of Law (Baltimore, MD) with a J.D. and L.L.M. in Taxation.
