The Experience to hold S500 Standard panel discussion
DENVER — The Experience now will feature a “Special Industry Panel,” which will feature members of the committee addressing the changes made to the IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration, according to a press release.
The Experience panel, titled “How Will the Newly Updated IICRC S500 Standard Affect your Business: Let’s review the Critical Updates to the 2015 IICRC S500,” is currently scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on April 29, the final day of The Experience.
Howie Wolf, Standard chairman, and Larry Carlson and Jim Holland, Standard committee members, will lead the panel discussion on the S500 changes. It has been nine years since the last update to the Standard.
“We invited the prestigious S500 Standard committee to come to The Experience and work with our attendees so that they can learn firsthand what the important changes are to the standards of care for the water damage restoration industry,” said Larry Cooper, managing director of The Experience, in the release. “It’s time to learn firsthand from the authors of the document how they made decisions and how they will benefit the industry going forward.”
In addition to the discussion panel, this event will include live demonstrations of the changes made to the amount of airmovers used on jobs, as well as a time for questions and answers from attendees.
