The Experience Events donates 10K to ICRA hands-on program

DENVER — The Experience Events announced April 20 it would donate $10,000 to the International Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA). This is part of an effort to develop and grow the organization’s hands-on education programs, according to a release.

The announcement came during the recent Experience Conference & Exhibition in Atlanta. Organizer Larry Cooper of The Experience Events pointed to the innovation and rising success of the comprehensive, hands-on certification programs ICRA is currently building.

“Experience Events supports the efforts of bringing up-to-date information, science and professionalism to the cleaning and restoration industry,” Cooper said.

The ICRA is a nonprofit organization of cleaning, restoration and inspection firms comprised of five trade associations: CRA, MCRA, PACR, NYRCI and SCRT. The organization currently offers hands-on certification as well as a comprehensive certification program, which includes both hands-on and written testing.
