Response Team 1 bulks up management team

WHEELING, IL — Response Team 1 has added three new executives to its managerial staff, all of which will be based in the Wheeling headquarters, according to a recent press release.

Bill Budig, Jeffrey Clement and Julie Harms will serve as chief information officer, vice president of human resources and general counsel, respectively.

“The addition of these three highly qualified individuals will position us well as we continue to expand into new markets and attract new customers,” John M. Goense, chairman of Response Team 1, said in the release. “They are accomplished executives with exceptional business vision and will provide great guidance in their specific areas of specialty such as leveraging technology to improve operations, driving and enhancing employee engagement, and offering expert legal counsel, respectively.”

Budig, who has had a 20-year-plus career in "formulating and executing IT strategy for growing multi-location, multi-national businesses,plans to "implement a cohesive IT infrastructure across all Response Team 1 companies."

In his new position, Clement, who previously served as vice president of human resources for Mizkan Americas will manage all human resources functions across all locations.

Harms spent more than a decade providing counsel to Waste Management Inc.'s national sales department and has practiced in environmental law, insurance coverage and general commercial litigation. At Response Team 1, she "will provide strategic legal guidance and support for Response Team 1 and its business units."

Response Team 1 is the nation’s second largest residential and commercial property restoration and renovation company serving 34 states from 30 locations.
