NWFA Expo recap
ST. LOUIS — The National Wood Flooring Association's (NWFA) 2015 Wood Flooring Expo, which occurred April 29 through May 1, once again met great success, with over 3,000 attendees visiting the NWFA's 30th anniversary special expo, according to Hardwood Floors, the organization's magazine.
The event was held inside the Edward Jones Dome, home to the St. Louis Rams, and the exhibit space inside was sold out, and education sessions "were well-attended."
NWFA's Wood Flooring Expo, which recently was named one of the 50 fastest growing trade shows by Trade Show Executive, used the 2015 expo to encourage NWFA members to give back to their communities with the "Play It Forward" theme.
“I believe the attendees respect the fact that although we are successful in our respected careers, we should take the opportunity to give back to individuals in need,” Enos Farnsworth, Denver Hardwood general manager, said in the release.
During the expo, Baseball legend Ozzie Smith announced NWFA's partnership with the Gateway PGA REACH Foundation for underprivileged youth; and the show also saw presentations from Bill Courtney, actor Gary Sinise and Super Bowl champion Isaac Bruce.
The NWFA has released a time-lapse video recap of the event which can be found here. There is also a picture collection that can be found on the NWFA's Facebook page here.
The 2015 Wood Flooring Expo will be held April 27 through 30, 2016 in Charlotte, NC, with the theme "Floor It."
