Nilfisk-Advance changes name
PLYMOUTH, MN — Nilfisk-Advance officially has changed its corporate name and brand to Nilfisk, according to a press announcement released February 27, 2015.
“In changing our name, we are reducing complexity in our branding and simplifying our overall brand hierarchy to make it easier to understand for our end-customers and dealers across the world,” Nilfisk Group President and CEO Jonas Persson said in the release.
The change comes as an effort to better align the company's global product brands and increase customer brand awareness.
“We will continue to leverage the strong heritage and history of the Advance, Clarke and Viper brands as we market and sell them throughout the Americas,” Jeff Barna, senior general manager and president of Nilfisk-Americas, said. “This new corporate identity provides an exciting opportunity to support Nilfisk’s future market strategy and further position the company as a global market leader.”
Along with the name change, Nilfisk will reveal a new visual identity in April, which will be reflected in the company's websites, marketing, etc.
