TAMARAC, FL — PuroClean, the nation’s fastest growing restoration and remediation franchise, was presented the 2016 Silver ADDY® at The American Advertising Awards, according to a press release.

The company was the only non-advertising agency to win an award from the American Advertising Federation of Ft. Lauderdale, which is comprised of more than 246 advertising professionals.

PuroClean was recognized for the creative design and execution of its corporate magazine, Heartbeat, which was produced by PuroClean’s in-house marketing department spearheaded by Olga M. Fraga, director of marketing and editor in chief, and Alex Pericchi, creative director and managing editor.

Heartbeat debuted in October 2014 as an enhanced communication vehicle and resource for PuroClean’s network of more than 230 franchisees. Heartbeat’s content focuses on best practices designed to help franchisees grow their business and as a forum to share unique stories, ideas and community involvement as well as celebrate the great work of franchisees.

“Heartbeat was designed to provide a vehicle to develop topics in greater depth,” PuroClean President and COO Steve White said in the release. “The name is appropriate not only because we are the ‘Paramedics of Property Damage,’ but also because one definition of heartbeat is ‘a vital unifying force.’ The magazine aims to inspire our franchisees to excel in business and unify the entire company in the pursuit of excellence. We are so proud of our marketing team for achieving excellence in earning this prestigious award.”

The annual American Advertising Awards give local Fort Lauderdale area companies an opportunity to showcase their creativity and compete locally, statewide and nationally for the prestigious ADDY® awards.

“We applaud PuroClean’s in-house marketing team for producing a quality publication,” said Meredith Lasher, president and ADDY co-chair of American Advertising Federation of Greater Fort Lauderdale. “The magazine is creatively designed, slick and professional and sets a high standard of excellence for other companies to follow.”
