NC cleaners exceed food drive goals
RALEIGH, NC —ZEROREZ of North Carolina has collected over 1,300 lbs. of nonperishable food for the ZeroHunger food drive, which will provide the food to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, according to a press release.
The company’s carpet technicians collected the food from customers during November, and easily passed the original goal of 1,000 lbs. of food.
The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters and other programs for children and adults.
“We’re grateful to partner with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina and pleased we could help them in their mission,” ZEROREZ North Carolina’s marketing director, Richard Averitte, said. “We’re humbled by our customers’ generosity and thankful they helped us exceed our goal.”
