Cleanfax Survey: What are the Most Profitable Restoration Services?

NORTHBROOK, Ill.—July 14, 2022—Recognizing what services to offer as a restoration company can be difficult. The return on investment is one major concern for company leaders. Fortunately, the most profitable services have been analyzed and determined using industry data to help leaders stop the guessing game at last. According to the results of the 2022 Restoration Benchmarking Survey Report, the most profitable service is water damage restoration (65%) with mold remediation in second place (13%)

Additionally, wind damage, pack-out/move-out, and contents restoration were tied as the least profitable services with only 1% of the vote each. Furthermore, biohazard cleanup dropped significantly (3%) over the last year as the demand for COVID-19 cleanup fell.
