ATI Announces J&M Keystone Acquisition
ANAHEIM, Calif.—February 3, 2022—ATI Restoration recently acquired J&M Keystone, a regional restoration firm with one branch office in San Diego. The J&M Keystone acquisition is the latest move in ATI’s accelerated growth strategy, which saw the company add five new offices to its portfolio in 2021 with further growth anticipated in 2022.
Operating 28 locations from coast to coast, ATI is the nation’s largest family-operated disaster recovery services firm. Other recent acquisitions include Mark 1 Restoration (Pennsylvania and New Jersey), QFB Property Restoration (Florida), ProCare Solutions (Tennessee and Kentucky), and Lang Restoration & Construction (Georgia). With the J&M Keystone acquisition, ATI will expand its existing market share in San Diego County.
“At ATI, the customer experience is the driver of everything we do,” said Jeff Moore, president of ATI. “It was J&M’s similar culture that drew us to them. By combining forces of the two biggest players in San Diego, we anticipate 2022 to be a strong year in that market.”
Founded in 1985 by Jim and Marsi Bronson, J&M is a full-service restoration contractor with 60% of its business servicing the residential market and 40% commercial. Water damage services account for approximately 80% of jobs. Managing partners Ron Martin and Dale Whittle joined the company in 1987 and 1991, respectively.
“One of our core values is going from good to great,” said Jim Bronson, founder of J&M. “And that was one of the considerations when deciding to partner with ATI. With their guidance, I am confident we will reach new heights and, even more importantly, the partnership allows for the security of my employees well beyond the time of my retirement.”
Over the last several years, J&M founders and managing partners have handed their responsibilities over to the care of General Manager Jeff Walker. Bronson, Martin, and Whittle will exit the business secure in the knowledge that Walker will continue to lead the office.
