IICRC WELCOMES NEW PRESIDENT
LAS VEGAS — The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has named Richard Greene the organization’s new IICRC president, according to a press release.
Greene has over 20 years of executive management experience leading local, state and national trade associations, primarily focusing his efforts on support of small businesses. Prior to joining the IICRC, Greene served as the CEO of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). His leadership positions include managing several local chambers of commerce, a state-wide, construction-related trade association, urban redevelopment agencies and a national trade association.
Greene earned a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives, recognizing his proficiency, professionalism and expertise in nonprofit/association management. After graduating from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), Greene earned his MBA from Utah State University.
“I am honored to have been chosen to lead the Institute,” IICRC President Greene said in the release. “The IICRC is a solid organization with the ability to lift the industry into the future, ultimately providing consumers with the best possible services. I am very much looking forward to our success together.”
IICRC Chairman Pete Duncanson served as interim president throughout the executive search and now passes the role entirely to Greene, who plans to “work closely with the IICRC Board of Directors to drive the Institute forward and create greater value for IICRC stakeholders.” Green will be based at the IICRC’s Global Resource Center in Las Vegas.
“Richard is an extremely qualified association leader, and we are lucky to add him to the IICRC team,” Duncanson shared in the release. “We believe Richard possesses the skills and experience necessary to enhance our offering to stakeholders while growing our registrant and Certified Firm base.”
