WAKE FOREST, NC — 1-800-PACK-RAT LLC is supporting Red Nose Day throughout May by wearing red noses to promote awareness and making donations, according to a press release.

Red Nose Day, which is May 26, was started by Comic Relief Inc in the United Kingdom more than 25 years ago and is now in its second year in the U.S. To date, the organization has raised over $1 billion to support projects that ensure child safety, health and education in the U.S. and worldwide.

1-800-PACK-RAT employees have been involved all month long, collecting donations and sharing red-nosed photos on the company’s social media accounts. The corporation purchased noses for all employees at its Wake Forest location  “to raise awareness… and encourage them to get a little silly for a good cause.”

“Red Nose Day gives our company the chance to not only support an organization that helps kids in need around the world, but also a chance for our employees to take a minute to come together and have some fun for a good cause” 1-800-PACK-RAT Senior VP of Sales and Marketing James Burati said in the release. “This is our first year participating as an entire company, and we are looking forward to making this an annual event.”
