A breakdown of the 2016 Experience Conference & Exhibition

The pre-show carpet mill tour took place Monday, and attendees, including Cleanfax staff, toured Shaw Industries technical lab and mill floor and J&J Carpet Mills. They were able to see the entire carpet making process from the nylon fiber creation process and carpet design process to tufting and inspecting.

The 2016 Experience Conference & Exhibition kicked off April 19 with classroom, breakout and hands-on sessions and a trade show in the exhibit hall with hands-on demonstrations at Mikey’s fest East Coast outdoors.

On April 20, the day continued with break-out sessions and hands-on learning opportunities, including a live water damage restoration demonstrations with Chuck Boutall. The exhibit hall and live, outdoor demonstrations were big hits with attendees again.

Thursday, April 21 began with a session on PPE and ended with the Mikey’s Fest Demo Tool Giveaway, which raffled off more than $20,000 in demo tools. The exhibit hall and live, outdoor demonstrations closed immediately after.

Following the show were two post-show class days. Howard Partridge and his team will present a full day of sessions devoted to growing your business.

Also on Friday, the ICRA held a hands-on assessment and certification for carpet cleaning. There were four preparation sessions during the conference leading up to this assessment, each covering a different topic necessary to successful completion of the assessment.
