MINTURN, CO — SteamMaster Restoration and Cleaning recently raised $22,082 for local charities through its SteamMasterGolf tournament, according to a press release.

SteamMaster, which services Vail and its surrounding areas, founded and organized the tournament in honor of its former marketing director, Kim Matthews, who died in 2005.

Since its creation 10 years ago, the SteamMasterGolf tournament has put on 11 tournaments and raised more than $350,000. This year’s charitable funding recipients included the Eagle County Emergency Responders Fund, the Literacy Project and the Matthews Education Project. Funds also went to the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, which is a permanent recipient of the tournament.

SteamMaster, which is a Certified Actively Green Company and a 2014 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics winner, offers water damage, smoke and fire restoration services, as well as carpet, rug and hard floor cleaning.
