2016 ISSA/INTERCLEAN Keynote Speakers

Northbrook, IL — ISSA, the worldwide cleaning association, has announced that former U.S. Navy SEAL Rob O’Neill, comedian Dennis Miller and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will be the ISSA keynote speakers for 2016 ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America. The event will be held October 25-28 in Chicago.

Rob O’Neill will speak on Wednesday, October 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. He is co-founder of Your Grateful Nation, an organization that provides support to members of Special Operations as they return to civilian life. He was a senior chief petty officer and a team leader in the Naval Special Development Group, known as SEAL Team Six. During his career with the armed services, O’Neill was deployed more than a dozen times and participated in more than 400 combat missions. With his presentation, he will talk about his commitment to never quit, his understanding of the benefits of being prepared and his ability to make decisions under pressure.

On Thursday, October 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., comedian and political commentator Dennis Miller will take the stage. He has worked as a talk-show host, sports announcer, actor and author. His work on the “Weekend Update” segment on Saturday Night Live, Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor and his syndicated radio have been described by critics as “topical, scathing brilliance.” Miller has also authored five books that have all been New York Times best sellers and has won five Emmy and three Writers Guild of America awards. The humor and insight of his presentation will appeal to all attendees, regardless of their political views.

On the last day of the event, Friday, October 28, Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak will present from 1:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m. Wozniak’s New York Times best-selling autobiography iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon, explains how he developed the Apple I computer, built his company and enjoyed the process. He has continued his success as a chief scientist at Primary Data, a data virtualization company. His years of experience and innovation provide him with plenty of valuable insight to share with attendees to help with their own business endeavors. Wozniak will announce the overall top winner in the ISSA Innovation Award Program winners Friday, October 28 at 12:00 p.m. His keynote will be an informal Q&A “chat” with ISSA Executive Director John Barrett.
