The photo contest winner this month is David Todaro of Coffey’s Carpet Cleaning in El Cajon, CA. His com­pany will receive a chemical prize package from Solu­tions by Steam Pros worth $500.

David describes this particular job: “This is a dining room, and I’ve never seen one as nasty as this job. An older lady, about 90 years old, was living here. This was an open house down the street from us, and when I saw the dining room carpet condition, I said to myself ‘This is going to be a challenge to clean!’ But I’ve been doing this for more than 42 years … I pre-sprayed with a pH of 13, let it dwell, then agitated it, then rotary steam cleaned it with an RX-20. It came out like new!”
