ICRA announces fall assessment schedule

SACRAMENTO, CA — The International Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA) will offer upcoming hands-on performance assessments and certification, according to a release.

 

The ICRA “has developed the Performance Assessment program to measure one's skills by demonstrating subject knowledge through a series of carefully monitored tasks,” the organization said. “This program does not compete with IICRC's written examinations, but rather complements it.”

ICRA reports that its performance assessments help employers by better evaluating employee skill levels, helping establish clearer criteria for advancement, pointing out which areas a worker needs to improve upon, making hiring and promoting easier, and saving them time and money.

Upcoming ICRA performance assessments include:

  • Carpet Cleaning Technician Performance Assessment and Certification

         *July 16, 2015

8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Jon Don, Hazelwood, MO

        * September 13, 2015 (Post-EXPERIENCE)

             8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

            Mirage Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

  • Assessor Training and Assessment

         *September 12-13, 2015 (Post-EXPERIENCE)

             8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

             Mirage Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

The ICRA also currently is developing a new Water Damage Restoration Performance Assessment for the fall of 2015, the schedule of which will be announced at a later date.
