Crew returns home in time for gift basket benefit
WESTON, WI — K-tech Restoration Services has announced that it’s final crew members returned yesterday from the East coast helping with Super Storm Sandy cleanup and in time for K-tech’s annual holiday basket charity event, according to a press release.
“It was a long trip back. I am grateful for the sacrifice of all of my team members being away from their families and homes for so long. But we had the opportunity to help a lot of people while we were there,” said Craig Kersemeier, President of K-tech.
Some of the team members, including Kersemeier himself, were on the coast for over a month performing 75 scopes of damage, the release stated.
According to the release, their return could not have come at a better time: This year K-tech is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their “Holiday Baskets” event which takes place Sunday morning, December 16.
“We are proud every year we do this event. But this year it has special meaning for us after what we saw on the East Coast and helping so many people out there, it’s nice to come back and do something like this for our home community too. Plus it’s a big anniversary for us, a decade of giving back to a community that has given us so much,” Kersemeier added.
