MADRID, SPAIN — The Chem-Dry Franchise recently gained its first franchise location in Spain, according to a press release.

José Lourenço, the Madrid location’s master franchisee, will train and support new franchisees as they open new locations in Spain.

"We trust that customers will be thrilled to see what Chem-Dry can offer under José's guidance and that his experience will help many others start floor cleaning franchises in Spain,” said Dan Tarantin, president and CEO of Chem-Dry and Harris Research Inc., Chem-Dry’s parent company.

The new Madrid location marks 48th country in which Chem-Dry operates. The company has more than 4,200 locations worldwide.

Lourenço, who has owned and operated a Chem-Dry franchise in Portugal for more than 15 years and has been the master franchisee there since 2005, says, “When you start a Chem-Dry, you are not just starting a small neighborhood business — you become part of something much bigger, which has many advantages.”
