PuroClean Recognized in Entrepreneur’s 2026 Top Brands for Multi-unit Owners and Top Global Franchises Lists
PuroClean has been named to two of Entrepreneur’s 2026 franchise rankings. The brand placed number 79 on the Top Brands for Multi-Unit Owners list and number 148 on the Top Global Franchises list.
“There is no greater compliment to a franchise system than a franchise owner choosing to reinvest in the brand,” said Brandon Mangual, vice president of franchise development at PuroClean. “44% of PuroClean’s franchise owners operate multiple territories. These are experienced operators making the decision to invest additional capital in a business they already know, based on the results they’ve achieved and the opportunities they see for continued growth.”
Among those franchise owners are Tomas Mejia and Sonia Gonzalez, whose growth is proof of the scalability of PuroClean’s franchise model. The pair joined PuroClean as E-2 Investor Visa candidates, investing in the brand as a path to building a business in the United States. Since then, they have expanded their portfolio to nine units across five states, earning numerous top honors within the PuroClean system along the way.
“When Sonia and I came to the United States from Colombia, our goal was to build a business and create opportunities for our family. We chose PuroClean because we saw the potential to grow in an essential industry with the support of an established franchise system. What started as an investment has grown into a multi-unit operation across five states,” Mejia said . “That growth took years of hard work, determination, a great team, and a Relentless Customer Service mentality that has become the foundation of how we operate. PuroClean’s strategic partnerships, National Accounts program, and commercial large-loss capabilities have also helped us pursue larger projects and expand our reach. For us, entrepreneurship is about more than growing a business. It’s about creating jobs, developing people, and making a difference in the communities we serve.”
For Gonzalez, their growth has also been about expanding their impact in the communities they serve.
“We knew our dream of building a better future for our family wouldn’t be easy, but I don’t think we fully understood how many long days, late nights, and sacrifices it would take. Today, seeing our PuroClean business grow across five states is incredibly rewarding, but what makes me most proud is the people behind that growth,” Gonzalez said . “We’ve created jobs, watched team members develop their careers, and helped families and businesses through some of the hardest moments of their lives. PuroClean gave us a foundation and the support to grow, but it was our team’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to taking care of people that brought us here. I hope our journey encourages other immigrant entrepreneurs to believe that they can build something meaningful here, too.”
The Top Brands for Multi-Unit Owners list recognizes franchise systems that give operators the support, scalability and unit economics to grow beyond a single location, while the Top Global Franchises list highlights brands with a strong and expanding footprint across US and international markets. Both rankings draw from the more than 1,300 companies that applied for Entrepreneur’s 2026 Franchise 500, each scored on more than 150 data points. For the Top Global Franchises list, Entrepreneur gave added weight to international system size and growth, and the Top Brands for Multi-Unit Owners list layered in multi-unit-specific factors. Together, the two awards point to a model built for business owners who want to scale, and a brand whose reach continues to broaden.
