The Experience LLC announces Infectious Disease seminar
LAS VEGAS — The Experience LLC recently announced a special presentation on preparation for infection disease cleaning which will be held its The Experience Convention and Trade Show event scheduled for September, according to a press release.
The presentation, “Infection Diseases: You have read the headlines; you have seen the scares and the effects of the spread of disease,” will be given by Alex Lozecki, Jim Thompson and Patrick Paluga on Friday September 11 from 8:30 to 9:20 a.m.
“Join this discussion and learn about how the cleaning and restoration industry may be asked to get involved in the potential national emergencies that could occur,” the release said. “Are you prepared? What would you do if you were asked to remediate an infected site? Is there training available for our industry to be prepared? Do you even want to be involved?”
According the release, the workshop will address include the following:
- Introduction to infectious disease
- Introduction to microbiology
- Disease and its defenses
- Orientation to blood-borne pathogens
- Introduction to bio-hazard cleanup
- Introduction to biological terrorism
- Introduction to natural and manmade disasters
- Information on OSHA training
- Live demonstration.
The Experience Convention and Trade Show is set for September 9 – 11 at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
