Janet Wiggins named IEHA president
WESTERVILLE, OH — IEHA has named Janet Wiggins, a 20-year veteran of the organization its next president, replacing Sherry Sidwell, who served as president from 2012-2014, according to a press release.
Wiggins has been a Certified Executive Housekeeper for 18 years and has served as an officer at the IEHA chapter and district levels, as well as on the Board of Directors.
“I am excited to continue the work of the IEHA Board to forge the new IEHA,” said Wiggins. “We are energized as we plot a course to excellence for our members.”
Wiggins’s has worked mainly in healthcare during her more than 20-year career and is director of environmental services for the Glenridge on Palmer Ranch in Sarasota, FL, as well as a Subject Matter Expert for the Service Contractors Education and Training Trust Fund.
“It is a new day for IEHA,” outgoing IEHA president, Sherry Sidwell said in the release. “Our Members will prosper under Janet’s leadership, and IEHA’s updated Professional Education Credentialing Programs (PECP) will continue to advance IEHA Member careers while enhancing indoor environments.”
