FLEET Response Appoints Trace Larsen as Vice President of Operations
FLEET Response appointed Trace Larsen vice president of operations, strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it continues executing its operational recovery strategy and positions itself for future growth.
Larsen brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the restoration, construction and home services industries, including extensive experience leading private equity-backed organizations. Most recently, he served as regional vice president for American Restoration, where he led multi-brand, multi-state operations generating approximately $100 million in annual revenue across six states, overseeing 10 general managers and approximately 350 employees. His responsibilities included regional P&L performance, operational strategy, margin improvement, sales execution, acquisition integration, compliance and leadership development.
Prior to that role, Larsen spent more than a decade as general manager of Utah Disaster Kleenup, where he held full P&L responsibility for a five-location operation with more than 100 employees. During his tenure, he helped scale revenue from approximately $17 million to $31 million through organic growth, operational improvement, strategic market expansion and Greenfield development, while strengthening gross margin, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization performance.
“Trace is one of the most respected operators in our industry,” said Mark Springer, FLEET Response CEO. “I have known Trace professionally for many years and have always admired his leadership style, operational discipline, and commitment to building great teams. As FLEET continues its recovery, our success depends on consistent execution across every region. Trace’s experience leading large, multi-location restoration organizations makes him uniquely qualified to help us strengthen our operating platform and accelerate the progress we are making.”
As vice president of operations, Larsen will partner with FLEET’s regional leadership teams to improve operational execution, strengthen project management and gross margin performance, implement standardized operating processes, support business development integration, and prepare the organization for future strategic growth initiatives, including acquisitions and Greenfield expansion.
“I am excited to join the talented team at FLEET Response,” Larsen said. “The company has made significant progress, and I look forward to working alongside our regional leaders and team members to build on that momentum. FLEET has an outstanding foundation of people, customer relationships, and market presence, and I am excited about the opportunity to help strengthen operations while positioning the company for long-term success.”
Larsen holds a master of business administration and a bachelor of science in economics from the University of Utah, as well as an associate of science in construction management from Snow College. He is a licensed general contractor and maintains multiple advanced industry certifications through the Restoration Industry Association and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification.
