BSR/IICRC S100 Available for Second Limited Public Review

LAS VEGAS—March 1, 2021—The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) opened a limited second public review for the revised draft BSR/IICRC S100 Standard for Professional Cleaning of Textile Floor Coverings. All comments must be submitted using the online comment form no later than March 28, 2021.

The draft revised S100 standard was available for the first public review from October 16 to November 30, 2020. Substantive changes made since the first public review are now available for review and comment as part of the second public review. The IICRC S100 standard describes the procedures, methods, and systems to be followed when performing professional maintenance and cleaning of commercial and residential textile floor coverings (e.g., carpet and rugs).

The BSR/IICRC S100 draft standard is available for review and comment as part of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 30-day public review period.
