BSCAI Introduces 2021 Board of Directors

CHICAGO—March 5, 2021—The Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) recently installed newly elected officers and directors to the BSCAI 2021 Board of Directors. Meet this year’s elected members:

The BSCAI 2021 president is Eric Luke, CBSE, CPA, president of MG Capital Maintenance, a successful BSC that primarily serves customers in North Carolina and Florida. Luke graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in accounting and information systems. After several years working for Arthur Andersen in San Francisco, Luke joined the BSC industry in 1989 as a District Manager for Varsity Facility Services in Denver, Colorado. Luke was promoted to President and CEO of Varsity in 2010 and led the organization’s integration into KBS LLC in 2017. His companies have been a member of BSCAI since 1972 and Eric has been a personal member since 1996.

BSCAI’s 2021 president-elect is Nathalie Doobin, CBSE, MBA, of HARVARD Services Group based out of Miami, Florida.  Doobin earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Hautes Etudes Commerciales, and an Executive MBA from University of Quebec. Before becoming an entrepreneur in 2012, Nathalie spent her career leading teams, building brands, and driving innovation globally for Fortune 500 companies such as Pfizer and Merck. In addition to being featured in Forbes Magazines’ Most Powerful Women issue, Doobin was recognized as “Enterprising Women of the Year” by Enterprising Women Magazine, WBE STAR by WBENC, “Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs & Business Owners” by NJBIZ Journal, and was appointed to the WBENC Forum.

BSCAI’s 2021 vice president is Paul Taylor, CBSE, founder of ESS Clean in Urbana, Illinois, where he has served as president and CEO since 1997. ESS Clean currently provides services throughout central Illinois and Indiana, focusing on providing high-end service in every market through its five branch locations. Taylor has been a BSCAI member since 1995 and started serving on the organization’s Board of Directors in 2013.

Serving as 2021 treasurer is Philippe D. Mack, CBSE, an executive with Bee-Clean Building Maintenance in Toronto, Ontario. Mack joined Bee-Clean on a national level in August 2018 and is an accomplished management professional with 30 years of progressive leadership expertise in facilities management, strategic planning, and business development in the public and private sectors. At Bee-Clean, Mack provides key leadership in category management, the deployment of cutting-edge field technology and the delivery of proven integrated solutions. Philippe has been a BSCAI member since 2005, and originally joined the BSCAI Board of Directors in 2010.

Coming off a successful term as the organization’s president in 2020, BSCAI’s immediate past president in 2021 is Todd Hopkins, CBSE, CEO and founder of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services. Hopkins earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in management from the University of Memphis and his MBA from Butler University. He is also a graduate of MIT’s Birthing of Giants Executive Entrepreneurship Academy, a prestigious program for top entrepreneurs.
