READING, Penn.—January 17, 2022—Berks • Fire • Water Restorations Inc. and Restoration Technical Institute (RTI) have partnered to offer vocational training to local non-profit organizations. The training will help support return to work programs and similar initiatives focused on helping people gain vocational skills to improve job opportunities.

“We are so pleased to give back to the individuals and organizations in our surrounding communities in this way.  Even if someone does not pursue a career in the building services industry, the excitement of learning and engaging in said process, can ignite one’s passion for learning and contributing.” said Lisa Lavender, COO of Berks • Fire • Water Restorations.

Participating organizations will receive a private branded portal with access to Restoration Technical Institute’s eLearning system, Digital Training Solution. Through the portal, users can access a full range of training related to the building services industry including health, safety, and compliance courses. “We have always believed in giving back to the communities where we live and do business,” Lavender continued. “This initiative is dear to our hearts; it not only helps the non-profit organizations, who have been challenged the last few years, but it also helps individuals succeed. This contributes to the future of the work force in our region and industry.”
