Darren Hudema
Darren S. Hudema, WLS, IICRC Triple Master, is Director of Training and Technical Services for PuroClean, where he leads the PuroClean Academy from the company's national training center in Tamarac, Florida. With more than 50 years in the restoration industry, Hudema has held roles as a technician, business owner, manufacturer representative, and corporate training executive.
Hudema serves on the IICRC Board of Directors and the Consensus Body for the ANSI/IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration, where he previously served as Vice-Chair during the 4th Edition rewrite. He holds IICRC Triple Master certifications (Master Water Restorer, Master Fire & Smoke Restorer, Master Textile Cleaner), the Water Loss Specialist (WLS) designation from the Restoration Industry Association, and is an IICRC-approved instructor for Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) courses.
An active contributor to industry standards and education, Hudema has co-authored The Complete Guide to Restorative Drying, served as technical editor for The Complete Guide to Cleaning and Restorative Drying, and published extensively in Restoration & Remediation, C&R, and Cleanfax. He serves on RIA's Legislative and Membership Committees and is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences.
