WoolSafe Plans Event Between The Experience & ISSA/INTERCLEAN

WEST YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND — After many successful WoolSafe Educational Conferences in the UK and Australia, the popular event for service providers and chemical licensees will come to The Mirage Hotel Las Vegas September 9-10 for the first North American WoolSafe Conference, according to a press release.

With the cleaning industry gathering for two of its biggest shows — the Experience, September 6-8, and ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America, September 11-14 — WoolSafe selected the weekend between the two events for the American WoolSafe Conference, creating three unmissable events within one week.

“The two-day event will be sandwiched between the Experience and ISSA/INTERCLEAN to allow both residential and contract cleaners the ability to attend,” Ruth Travis, the director of WoolSafe North America, said in the release.

The first day of the conference program will include:

  • WoolSafe research
  • Cleaning natural and regenerated cellulosic fibers
  • Applying protectors to natural fibers (panel) – WoolSafe product licensees
  • Marketing master class
  • Wool carpet and rug care
  • WoolSafe goings on and future plans
  • Open forum (Q&A)
  • An evening cocktail reception

On day two, the conference will move to Oriental Express, owned by Bill Pinckard, for a rug plant tour and cleaning demonstrations.

All interested cleaning professionals may attend. A special discount will be offered to WoolSafe Service Provider company owners and staff. The standard price is $195 for the conference and $95 for the rug tour and the WoolSafe Member price is $145 for the conference and $75 for the Rug Tour. The cocktail reception is $60.
