Most, if not all, disaster restoration companies have experienced insurance claims being denied, which means payment for their work is delayed, if not in complete jeopardy. Sometimes a legal battle then ensues.

And now, a new twist may be developing. According to Kevin Jones, the owner of the I-40 Structural Drying Academy, and a consultant in the restoration industry, as corporate funds dry up, the industry may see more denied claims. In the latest episode of Take 5 with Jeff Cross and Kevin Jones, Jones shares solutions that restoration companies can consider as they deal with insurance companies, claims, and the entire process of getting paid in a timely manner.
