Three professional associations sign Memorandum of Understanding
LAS VEGAS ā The Carpet & Rug Cleaners Institute of Illinois (CRCII), the Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning Association (LMCCA) and the Professional Cleaning and Restoration Alliance (PCRA) formalized an agreement allowing for shared resources and cross-membership for members, according to a press release.
Don Quick, president of CRCII, said the agreement was good for all involved. āThereās leverage when we work together,ā he added. āWe can do more for our members when we represent a larger group of members and work in a unified manner.ā
Leaders of the three long-time professional associations agree the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which goes into effect immediately, will lead to stronger ties and greater organization stability and growth for all three organizations, according to.
āToday, members of any association ā cleaning or otherwise ā are looking for real value,ā said LMCCA President Lonnie McDonald. āThey want to learn new techniques, save money running their businesses and stay on top of whatās going on in the industry. Together, we can strengthen the value we deliver to members on all fronts.ā
The MOU includes, but is not limited to, the ability to promote each other’s respective associations and providing mutual technical support.
The organizations have very different histories and geographies, said Patrick Paluga, president of PCRA. But he was quick to add that was a benefit of the alliance. āDown here in the sunbelt, weād love to hear whatās working ā and what isnāt ā for cleaning professionals in Illinois. Different markets mean different innovations.ā
All members of each association also become members in all three associations.
