The Last Word December 2015

Before-and-after-Dec2015

The photo contest winner this month is Harvin Pettit with A1 Custom Carpet Cleaning in Raymond, WA, for his impressive red candle wax removal. His company will receive a chemical prize package from Solutions by Steam Pros worth $500.

Harvin describes this particular job: “Sometimes you get a job that shows why it’s best to call professionals when disasters happen. This client called five days before Thanksgiving and said family was on the way. What had happened? A candle warmer sat on a table… and the homeowner tripped over the power cord. You can see the disaster in the photo: Red candle wax. It was on the carpet, furniture and walls. The second photo shows the value of carpet protection and education from the IICRC. We used chemicals sparingly due to the dyeing effect that can occur when you break down the wax during removal. Now we have a happy repeat client!”

For an opportunity to win a $500 chemical prize package from Solutions by Steam Pros, send your images and a brief 100-word description on how you obtained your results to Executive Editor Jeff Cross at [email protected] or 193 Purple Finch Loop, Pataskala, OH 43062. Contest rules available by request.
