LAS VEGAS—April 19, 2022—The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) recently received reaccreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). ANSI is responsible for overseeing the development of national consensus standards and verifying that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standard’s developer. The ANSI reaccreditation furthers the IICRC’s dedication to its mission and the industry members it serves.

“Receiving reaccreditation as an Accredited Standards Developer reaffirms our commitment to the IICRC mission,” said IICRC President and CEO Michael Dakduk. “We are dedicated to advancing accredited standards globally.”

The IICRC has proudly been an ANSI Accredited Standards Developer since 2005 and has continued to demonstrate its dedication to the cleaning, inspection, and restoration industries by complying with ANSI’s rigorous auditing processes.

“Accreditation is a mark of excellence in the standards community,” said Mili Washington, IICRC standards director. “The standards committee, under the leadership of Brandon Burton, Ryan Tasovac, and Darren Foote, show great professionalism in adhering to the requirements under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to maintain our accreditation.”
