Soil-Away celebrates 25 years
HOOKSETT, NH — Soil-Away Cleaning and Restoration Services celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, according to a release.
The company, which was established Bradford, MA, in 1990 by Jack Solloway who is still president and CEO, began “as a small carpet cleaning company utilizing the Bane-Clene methodology.”
At that time, Solloway wanted to leave behind his corporate career, and after a negative experience with a cleaning and restoration company, he started Soil-Away “with a $5,000 loan from his sister and operated out of the family station wagon. Now Soil-Away is one of the leading cleaning and restoration firms in its service area.
In its 25 years, Soil-Away has seen much growth and change, expanding its services into south/central New Hampshire and northeast Massachusetts, adding employees (20 full-time team members currently), and transitioning to a more restoration-focused offering. Over 80 percent of sales now come from the water and fire restorations and mold remediation projects.
“Soil-Away team members would like to collectively congratulate and thank Jack for 25 years of sacrifice, commitment and leadership. Without Jack’s continuous efforts and inspiration Soil-Away would not be where it is today,” Soil-Away staff said in the release. “We are proud to be a part of a company that is so committed its clients, employees and community.”
The company’s employees added, “Happy 25th anniversary to our boss, leader and friend!”
Cleanfax, too, would like to wish Soil-Away away a happy anniversary and much more success in the future.
