Save the Date: The International Surface Event 2017

The International Surface Event (TISE) is a huge combination of SURFACE, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and the TileExpo that will be held on January 17-20, 2017 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.  

The event features the most extensive display of floor covering, natural and engineered stone and tile products in the world with hundreds of thousands of net square feet of exhibit space. This includes floor covering products in every major category, such as carpet, tile, hardwood, rugs, resilient and laminate, plus the latest tools, supplies and technologies for the floor covering industry.

The annual show typically attracts fabricators, installers, architects, designers, builders, kitchen and bath specialists, retailers, distributors, landscape architects, restoration professionals, general contractors, quarriers and others.

For the 2017 event, TISE is introducing a new educational program that will feature many sessions specifically designed for TISE attendees. Several of these sessions quality for certifications since TISE is a registered provider with AIA/CES, IDCEC, IICRC and AIBD. There will also be live,  on-floor expert instruction, demonstrations and hands-on training on the trade show floor during all open exhibit dates/hours.

Attendees can also earn the recently created TISE Masters Certification. Beginning in 2012, those who completed eight hours of coursework during any given annual show automatically earn a Masters Certification. Certifications are offered in focused study areas, such as Business/Retailing/Business Management, Installation, Stone Fabrication, Sustainability and Design/Trends.
