RIA convention hits Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — The RIA's 2013 Leadership Summit & Industry Expo is officially underway, with a standing-room only crowd listening to advice from Dina Dwyer, the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Dwyer Group, the corporation over Rainbow International.

Dwyer spoke to a crowded room about business building tactics and how to make a restoration company successful. Dwyer is best known to the general public as participating in CBS's Emmy-winning reality show "Undercover Boss."

From a quartet providing background music during the trade show and $1,000 given away every hour to attendees in a free raffle, the event also features educational tracks that run through Thursday.

More than 100 companies that manufacturer or supply restoration products are exhibiting during the trade show. All events for this convention are held at Planet Hollywood.

Next year’s RIA 2014 Leadership Summit & Industry Expo is scheduled for April 9-11, 2014 at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, FL.
