RIA Convention and Expo underway
Las Vegas —The Restoration Industry Association’s 2015 International Restoration Convention and Industry Expo officially began on Thursday, May 7, with an 8 a.m. PDT keynote address from Donald Cooper.
This year there are more than 100 exhibitors at the trade show, and it is the largest trade show in recent years.
Highlights of the RIA convention schedule include:
Thursday:
o 9:30 a.m. breakout session with Peter Crosa, “Thrive in Insurance Restoration without Preferred Vendor Programs”
o 11:00 a.m. breakout session with Tom Cline, “Business Strategy: More than a Business Plan”
Friday:
o 1:30 p.m breakout session with Scott Tackett, “Recruiting and Retaining ‘A’ Platers”
o 1:30 p.m. breakout session with Timothy Hull, “The Seven Steps to Quality Improvement”

The exhibit hall will be open from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
In addition, this year the RIA and the IICRCA have teamed up to allow visitors into the exhibition halls of both the 2015 International Restoration Convention and Industry Expo and The IICRCA Event, which is being held May 6 through May 8. Any registered attendee of RIA’s convention can visit The IICRCA Event’s exhibition hall for free and vice versa.
Trade show hours for the 2015 International Restoration Convention and Industry Expo are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Hours for The IICRCA Event are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, and exhibit hall hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.
