In addition to the product exhibition, networking opportunities, and a full line-up of training and education sessions, the spring event will feature an important keynote address from members of the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) on the Parabellum Microbe: Prepare for Microbial Warfare. Jeff Jones, certified bio-forensic restoration specialist and director of forensic operations for GBAC, and Dr. Gavin Macgregor-Skinner, certified bio-forensic restoration specialist and director of GBAC, will deliver the keynote address on Monday, April 19, 2:30-4:00 p.m.
The COVID-19 pandemic has killed more Americans than the Vietnam War and is the most pressing challenge our industry faces. Jones and Macgregor-Skinner will present protocols and procedures for forensic restoration as well as demonstrating how to implement biorisk management and infection control through techniques of forensic cleaning, testing, and professional disinfecting. This will be an important presentation for both cleaning and restoration professionals to learn more about how to operate their businesses safely during the pandemic.
