FORT WORTH, TX — Powr-Flite, manufacturer of professional cleaning tools and equipment, has named industry veteran Donald J. Davidshofer as its new product manager, according to a press release.

Davidshofer developed 15 U.S. Government patented products and components for vacuum cleaners during his lengthy career. He has held positions with The Eureka Company and Electrolux Homecare Products.

“His talents have also been effective at reducing manufacturing costs,” the company says. “He helped one vacuum cleaner manufacturer reduce their production of a canister vacuum cleaner by a significant 23 percent.”

At Powr-Flite, Davidshofer will focus on the company’s professional vacuum cleaners, air movers, cleaning chemicals and solutions and self-contained extractors.

“Donald is definitely an amazingly talented guy,” Zack Smith, marketing manager for Powr-Flite, said in the release. “He’s proven he can think ‘outside the box’ [and] loves a challenge and has developed a number of products that were not only patented, but have helped his employers and end users significantly.”
