Katie Morton Joins Business Mentors as Business Development Manager

EUGENE, Ore.—April 27, 2022—Business Mentors hired Katie Morton as their business development manager in December of 2021. In her new role, Morton will act as the marketing coordinator and executive assistant to the company’s leadership staff. In addition, she will be responsible for creating and distributing consistent and professional content through the company’s digital channels, including its website and social media pages.

Prior to joining Business Mentors, Morton worked as the sports and conventions coordinator for Travel Lane County where she gained experience creating social media strategies, implementing marketing content across all social media platforms, and coordinating email marketing to subscribers of the various company e-newsletters. Morton also assisted Travel Lane County in putting together several bids for large sports events, such as the 2023 PDGA U.S. Masters Championships.

Katie Morton brings this experience into her new role, where she will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Business Mentors website, social media management, and marketing. She will also coordinate with industry partners to set up, film, and edit video testimonials.
