ICRA enters understanding with Shaw for referral program

SACRAMENTO, CA — The International Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA) today announced it had entered into an understanding with Shaw Industries who will provide a referral program through its Registered Firm and Certified Cleaner Network, according to a press release.
ICRA will be developing and offering an online basic skills exam for the carpet cleaning basic skills training course offered by Shaw as part of its Shaw Total Care program.
Existing Shaw Total Care certified technicians who wish to have their certifications grandfathered into ICRA can do so simply and for only $25. ICRA Basic Skills certificates are mailed in one business day to expedite the process.
Those interested in transitioning their existing STC certification to ICRA can visit ICRAssociation.org/Certification/STC to complete an application, upload a copy of their existing certification and pay the fee all online.
To have certifications from other certifying organizations grandfathered into ICRA, interested certified cleaners and restorers can go to ICRAssociation.org/Certification/ICRA-Certification, upload copies of certifications or ID Cards, complete a form and pay a flat rate of $40 to transition all existing certifications. ICRA recognizes certifications from IICRC, RIA and ACAC and will consider certifications from other organizations on a case-by-case basis.
