IAQA elects officers and directors
ROCKVILLE, MD — The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) board of directors held its annual election of officers for the 2013-2014 term on February 26, during the IAQA 16th Annual Meeting, according to a press release.
Three IAQA directors elected from the slate issued by the nominating committee were also installed at the IAQA general membership meeting held on February 28, the release stated.
According to the release, the board members were elected as follows:
- President: Donald M. Weekes, CIH, CSP, of INAIR Environmental Ltd., Ontario, Canada
- First Vice President: Derrick Denis, CIEC, CIAQP, of Clark Seif Clark Inc., Tempe, Arizona
- Vice President: Daniel Greenblatt, ASCS, CMR, CMH, of Envirotech Clean Air Inc., Stoneham, Massachusetts, and Kent Rawhouser, WLS, CMRS, of A&J Specialty Services Inc., DeForest, Wisconsin
- Treasurer: Wei Tang, PhD, of QLab in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
IAQA will hold its 17th Annual Meeting on March 17–19, 2014, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, the release noted.
A call for papers has been released, with a June 1, 2013 deadline for abstract submissions, the release added.
