Duraclean marks 85 years in the cleaning and restoration industries
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — In 2015, Duraclean International Inc., the international cleaning and restoration franchise company, celebrates 85 successful years, according to a press release.
Duraclean was established by Irl H. Marshall Sr., who developed the “foam absorption” carpet and upholstery cleaning method, in 1930. Over the years, Duraclean also has expanded throughout the U.S. and worldwide through its franchises, including most recently in Saudi Arabia.
“Duraclean set the standard for cleaning carpeting and other surfaces 85 years ago,” Duraclean President Vince Caffarello said in the release. “We continue to set the standards in our industry, service both residential and business markets, and provide business opportunities for entrepreneurs. We’re very pleased to have been recently chosen to participate in formulating the industry Standards for trauma, crime scene and biological-infectious cleanup, which is regulated by most states.”
The company reports it has helped “people and businesses cleanup damage from every major recent disaster in the U.S.”
“It’s very gratifying to have made a difference in the lives of our customers and franchisees for over eight decades. And, we look forward to continuing to do this in the future,” Caffarello added.
