Chuck Violand, whom you have seen for many years in the pages of Cleanfax as a monthly columnist, is now serving as the president of the RIA.

He was chosen as president during the RIA’s International Restoration Convention & Industry Expo in Orlando. He was already serving on the board of directors.

Violand, the principal of Violand Management Associates, was asked by Cleanfax how he will find time to take this leadership role in the RIA, in addition to running his consulting firm. “I’ve set up my practice so I can do this,” he said, referring to his volunteer work in the restoration industry. “I have a great team at Violand Management Associates who make the firm a success, giving me time to assist in other venues of the industry. And I will also have great support with the staff and volunteers of the RIA.”

In his first official duty as RIA president, Violand presented CR candidates their certifications.
