CFI and the flooring industry mourn a loss

KANSAS CITY, MO — William Bernard “Bernie” Madden died peacefully on August 1, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.pr-william bernard madden

Born November 7, 1933, in Summerfield, Kansas, Madden served in the Korean War and was a college football player in his youth. He met and married his wife Jackie in 1960, and the two had six children together.

Madden was the owner of Madden McFarland Interiors and a founding member of the Kansas City CFI Chapter. He also was the first recipient of the Chris Davis award.

The professional and community legacy Madden built in his lifetime will be remembered my all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
