Accent DKI hosts charity poker tournament

WOOD DALE, IL — DKI member company Accent DKI of Omaha, NE, hosted its third annual charity poker tournament on Friday, November 30, at the Omaha Professional Firefighter's Club, according to a press release.

pokerThere were 80 poker players in attendance for the tournament, which included players represented from the Omaha fire and police departments, the release stated.

According to the release, Omaha Fire Chief Michael F. McDonnell and First Responders Foundation President Ray Somberg were also those among attendance at the tournament, and both took the time to thank all of the players for their support of a very worthwhile cause and much needed charity.

All money for prizes, food and raffle was donated, which allowed $2,756 to be raised that evening, which goes to benefiting the "First Responders Critical Support Foundation," the release noted.
